Welcome

We are proud to continue as a sponsor of the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions in 2022 and in collaboration with ToC, this tournament is truly an extraordinary partnership.

We are pleased to invest in the squash stars of the future through the tournament’s support of two outstanding youth programs, StreetSquash and CitySquash. These after-school, non-profit youth enrichment programs combine academic tutoring, squash instruction, college preparation and mentoring.

We hope you join us to raise a racquet during this exciting week of matches in one of the most beautiful arenas in the world. We are glad to carry on this great New York tradition as this event celebrates its 24th year in Grand Central Terminal!

Dear Friends,

I am pleased to address those of you attending the 24th annual Tournament of Champions at Grand Central Terminal in New York City. I offer my heartfelt gratitude to each of the organizers, sponsors, athletes, and attendees here to celebrate this international sporting event.

Every year, the Tournament of Champions inspires individuals all over the world with its diverse showcase of the world's greatest squash players. The Tournament's partner organizations, J.P. Morgan, Lexington Partners and NBCUniversal, bring the excitement of the nation's squash events to younger generations, while also supporting them in their personal and professional development. I am inspired by the dedication and rigor of this Tournament, and it is my hope that it will encourage others to take actions that strengthen our shared communities here in New York and nationwide.

Please accept my best wishes for a wonderful tournament and many more years of continued success.

Sincerely,

Dear Friends:

It gives me great pleasure to welcome everyone to the 24th annual J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions at Grand Central Terminal.

From the original crosstown rival Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants to the New York City Marathon and US Open, sports have played an exciting and indelible part in New York’s cultural landscape for more than two centuries. By promoting the values of determination, friendly competition, and leadership, they continue to bring joy to New Yorkers year-round. After a canceled event in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am thrilled to welcome the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions back to Grand Central Terminal for the 24th year. The tournament, which traces its roots back to 1930, brings together the most skilled squash players from around the world to showcase their impressive abilities, while fostering a cultural exchange between participants and spectators alike who are united by their enthusiasm for this fast-moving racket sport. I applaud the tournament’s competitors, organizers, and passionate fans for being a part of this terrific display of athleticism and sportsmanship.

On behalf of the City of New York, I extend my best wishes for a fun-filled, spirited tournament and continued success.

Sincerely,

Eric Adams
